Abstract:
Spinal cord injury(SCI)is a neurological injury caused by trauma, which can lead to motor dysfunction and loss of sensation below the injury site. Studies have shown that by stem cell transplantation to the injury site, it can differentiate into neurons and promote the release of endogenous growth factors to improve SCI. However, transplanted stem cells rarely survive. In recent years, implantation of stem cells into the injury site by biological scaffold has increased stem cell viability, and promoted the repair of SCI. Herein, we focused on the treatment of biological scaffold combined with stem cells implantation in SCI.
